Damilola Junaid graduated from Gordon College with a B.S in Biology (Pre-medicine concentration) and a minor in Economics. As a record holding athlete at her Alma Mater, she believes that when hard work meets opportunity and is backed up by the hand of God, greatness is inevitable! Due to her passion for youth, women’s health and Nigeria, Dami has exposed herself to community service in healthcare. She is also the co-founder and CEO of a nonprofit, The ARISE Africa Foundation, which has a mission to break the stigma surrounding STD testing in Nigeria. To further prepare for a career in the field of Public Health, she is currently working as an OB/GYN research technician at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.
