We said it before and we’ll say it again – 2018 is gonna be the year we mind our business (literally) and upgrade our professional lives like never before! We kicked the year off right by setting goals at #OwnYourYear Nairobi, and then learned, networked and celebrated at #SLAYFestival in Lagos. But we’re just getting started…
Next up, we are excited to announce we will be hosting the #SheMeansBusiness Digital Training Series in partnership with Facebook!
Are you located in Aba, Asaba, Abuja, Ibadan, Kaduna, Lagos, Owerri or Port Harcourt? Have you already started a fabulous business, but want to learn more about digital marketing and online business strategy? Sign up to participate below!
Here’s what you can expect:
1. In-person trainings: We’ll be offering 4,000+ young, ambitious Nigerian women the opportunity to attend an in-person training workshop facilitated by SLA and Facebook trainers. Trainings will teach you how to utilise digital resources that will help you take your business online and compete in a global marketplace, and will be followed up with a 4-week email course providing information on further resources (including Facebook’s Blueprint e-learning course).
2. Office hours: We’ll be offering 1 Office Hour session per city where 3-5 trainers will be present to answer any digital marketing-related questions you may have. There will also be opportunities to form mentorship groups with your peers so you can thrive together!
Price: Completely FREE! That’s right, we just want to spread the love (and knowledge!) Please note that unfortunately we cannot cover any travel costs.
Every #MotherlandMogul needs digital marketing and strategy skills to grow their brands and scale their businesses… Entrepreneurs, these skills help you reach new customers online and increase your profits; professionals, you can take these new tools back to your team and be on your way to that next promotion!

Why haven’t I gotten any response to my registration?
You can expect to hear from us the week before your selected training date asking you to RSVP to confirm your spot.
What are the locations for the trainings?
You will receive a reminder email the week before your selected training date asking you to RSVP to confirm your spot. The first 100 people to RSVP will receive an email with details including location, time and what to bring.
What if I am not one of the first 100 people to RSVP for a training?
If you are not one of the first 100 people to RSVP, we will ask you to please re-register for another available date. We are doing our best to accomodate absolutely everyone who wants to participate, but due to high demand, spaces are first come first serve.
What time will the trainings start?
Trainings will take place from 9:00am-5:00pm.
Why can’t I see previously listed dates for my city?
While we’re doing the best we can to accommodate everyone who would like to participate, unfortunately spaces at each training are limited and sign ups are therefore first come first serve. The dates you see on the form above are those that still have space.
Will there be more dates added to the registration form?
We are still working to confirm additional dates through September for most cities, so if you don’t see a date that works for you now, keep checking back.
How much is the training?
Trainings are free!
Is there anything given to me as proof that I attended the training?
Yes, you will receive a certificate of attendance after you’ve completed the participant survey post training.
